A Resource Aligned with My Values

When I was teaching Women in my Workshop about VALUES this past month, a few of my own came to mind: authenticity, mastery, knowledge, growth, simplicity....

A few years ago, I discovered an INCREDIBLE resource that aligns with so many of my values- Masterclass.

You may have seen their advertisements pop-up on your Instagram feed. Masterclass has a wide variety of online classes taught by celebrities and well-known leaders, from Robin Roberts to Annie Liebovitz or Steve Martin to Metallica. In each class, the instructors share wisdom, tips, stories of personal victory and the many lessons learned in their field/industry. 

Some of my favorites include Sara Blakely on Self-Made Leadership, Bob Iger (formerly of Disney) on Business Strategy & Leadership and Doris Kearns Goodwin on U.S. Presidential History and Leadership (fascinating stuff). 

When do I make time engage in Masterclass? I attend "traffic university" (a phrase I heard in the book The 5AM Club by Robin Sharma). This means...when I'm driving, I try to make the most of this time and listen to some kind of educational program. No, I don't do this on every drive, but I aim for 50%. This small intention/shift has made a BIG impact on my life satisfaction level. Being perfectly aligned with my own values, Masterclass's nuggets of knowledge, mastery and growth have enriched my life in the most positive way!
