Our purpose is the reason for our being, our existence. Some describe purpose as- "what gets me out of bed in the morning." When your energy is low and your plate is full, purpose can help PULL you forward to DOING.Exploring and defining your purpose can be immensely helpful, especially before setting your yearly goals. Any time you align your goals with your bigger WHY, your doing becomes more meaningful in the grand scheme of life.
Simply, and powerfully, put- when your doing becomes aligned with the essence of your being, life becomes more satisfying and fulfilling.
I wanted to share a favorite exercise that I found in Jack Canfield’s book The Success Principles. The four simple steps of “The Life Purpose Exercise” found within the book have the potential to bring about powerful awareness. You can download the exercise here to try out for yourself!
When I completed this exercise in 2016, I immediately felt my true calling was to become a Coach! My purpose is to use my high energy and passion for personal and professional growth to help others live their best lives. It drives me to keep going every single day. When I am anchored in my purpose, I feel unstoppable!
